FOLSOM BLUES BREAKOUT HALF MARATHON

Train with us in a fun and structured training program specifically designed to help you reach your goals at the 2019 Folsom Blues Breakout Half Marathon!

Race Day: Sunday, October 20, 2019 

Group Kick-Off Meeting: Wednesday, August 7, come to meet the coaches and your fellow teammates

10-week Training Program – 1st training session is on Sunday, August 11, 2019

Coached Sessions: Wednesday Night 6pm and Sunday Mornings 7:30am

Training Locations: both Gold Country Run+Sport stores in El Dorado Hills and Folsom, Lake Natoma, Folsom Lake College Track, American River Parkway

Registration Details:
  • $115.00 Per Person for Training
  • Training Fee does not include race entry fee
  • No refunds allowed after the first training session and no exchanges or transfers.

Minimum Fitness: The first week of training will have runners running 8-12 miles total with a long run consisting of 4-7 miles. Prior to the start of training, it is highly recommended that registrants be running 8-12 miles per week and have done at least a 5-mile continuous run.
 
Please note: This training plan is designed specifically for a successful race at Folsom Blues Breakout Half Marathon. Participating in any other half marathons during this training cycle may directly affect your results. Please feel free to contact the coach directly if you have any questions regarding this training program.
